This minute book is stored in a safe at the Bear Creek Friends (Conservative) Meeting House, Dallas Co., Iowa. Transcribed in 2024 from the original hand-written journal by Nancy Osborn Johnsen, great-great granddaughter of Deborah Fox Standing – who was Clerk of the Bear Creek Monthly Meeting of Women Friends during this period.  [Note:  Deborah was from England, which guides the spelling of some of the words she used in the earlier years.]  See more comments at the end of this transcription.
